Since I was going to buy arms for myself, I needed a safe. To be more precise, weapons safe. I had a wander around shops. They were either cheap and made of foil, or looked worthy but made of 2 foil layers. Anything that looks solid is quite expensive.
Thus, I have decided to create such a container myself. I don’t have any experience of making such things. There are no interesting ideas on the Net. So the only way out is realization of my own ideas.
First, I assembled an outer frame with a door. I will do things further on with this base.
Hinge adjustment
The hinges I bought at home depot were awful. So I used the hinges I found in a shop near my house.
The final version looks this way.
Frame with one lock is ready.
A bit later, I will strengthen it. There will be holes for fixing on a wall.
The next stage. Inner locking department.
I decided to adorn all visible parts with rivets.

I fixed legs so that the box did not scratch the floor.

The hardest work was drilling of so many holes for rivets. Below, the pictures of almost finished work
I did not decide whether I should seal outer corners or not. I wanted to do it well, but didn’t know how, and liked my work this way. Inside, everything is sealed, so let it be this way. Inner finishing and door shelves will be done after buying weapons. That’s it. Wait for your reviews.
